I don't have technology so you'll just have to imagine it. Hands in front of you, palms OUTWARD. Right hand: thumb, index, and middle finger straightened and splayed so middle finger is up ("I"), index and thumb form more or less an adjoining "L" to someone viewing opposite you. Tuck pinky and ring in. Left hand: form "X" with middle and index finger (middle over index for more discernible crossover, tuck remaining fingers in. Bring your hands together.

I once asked my brother to teach me a gang sign for my hood, East Dallas (EDT), but he refused. He said the combination of the neccesary letters would be dangerous owing they belonged to different local gangs.

Our old soundman used to take pride in his gangsigns. He was especially proud of the "blood" one. Though apparently, he was trying to teach this girl at a house party in Essex how to do it, she went upstairs to practice, spent ages learning it and came downstairs to show us all.

Except she had been practising in the mirror, and someone asked "why are you flashing DOOLB at us?"
