I heard the first one a month ago. It was rubbish. All about the fonts on road signs. Tedium squared.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 09:40 (twenty-two years ago)

All about the fonts on road signs.

In fairness, this sounds like the most interesting program evah. R4 have a habit of doing stuff that sits on the borderline between tedium and roxor.

im at work ed! also, listen again is most helpful.
for me, "All about the fonts on road signs" and " Tedium squared" do no ever go together.

you definitely don't want serif fonts on roadsigns. Harder to read from a distance.

Hang on, should I be presenting this?

Johnney B (Johnney B), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 10:11 (twenty-two years ago)

I like those old roadsigns which were just an unfilled red metal triangle with the hazard written out below it like FORD or COWS ON THE ROAD or whatever, but only in a misty eyed nostalgic sense - I realise they were k-rub at doing what they were supposed to do.

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 10:15 (twenty-two years ago)

IT'S TYPEFACES......

grrrrrrr.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 10:48 (twenty-two years ago)
