(Did you know?: Whine comes before Work in the category list.)

I'm procrastinating coding right now, drinking coffee, just finished my KOL for the day, listening to some Beefheart.

How're all my office/cubicle/counter-dwelling friends doing out there?

HOLLA!!!!

HAMBURGER NEURON GROUP (ex machina), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:39 (twenty-two years ago)

At present rates the blast from the air conditioning vent above my desk should freeze me solid just in time for the post-lunch slump.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

sometimes I hate Tuesdays more than Mondays.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you like Counting Crows?

HAMBURGER NEURON GROUP (ex machina), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

boomtown cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Today, I shall make life hell for some poor soul in New York. Help desk jockey, feel the wrath of my bombast.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

The only purpose in my getting out of bed today was to suffer, oh, woe is me.

TOMBOT, Tuesday, 8 June 2004 12:51 (twenty-two years ago)

good gravy - is it only tuesday? we really should be allowed to swap our sunny workdays for rainy weekends in Britain as they're such rare occurences.

dog latin (dog latin), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 13:54 (twenty-two years ago)

why would anyone put a help desk in NYC?

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Someone got the whole outsourcing idea horribly ass backwards.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:10 (twenty-two years ago)

esp. when you consider that Mr. Noodles is a Canadian.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:11 (twenty-two years ago)

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish I could listen to music, or have a cubicle.

___ (___), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:17 (twenty-two years ago)

as it is I just have a worryingly large discrepancy - lauren, I know how you feel.

___ (___), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't buy this product, don't look at me.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 14:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Because I now have a key, I came in early with breakfast. I am all alone in the office listening to Prince. And there's a HUGE fax just coming through behind me.

I'm solving a "problem" for the computer (total invention) by randomly cutting and pasting Excel spreadsheets together. Hey, it keeps me off the cash register.

Laura E (laurae55), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 17:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to take a nap on the toilet.

HAMBURGER NEURON GROUP (ex machina), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Not a spelling mistake. I am at least three different kinds of better now.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Just be grateful you're not a postman in Hull.

Charles Dexter (Holey), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 17:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I should be javascripting & SQLing & HTMLing like a mute little worker drone - instead, I'm taking "breaks" between sporading work-related activity to find Green Lantern GIFs. Good thing the monitor isn't facing my office door.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I feel your pain nick. When I was 18 I had a gov'ment job and that translated to falling asleep in various place, occasionally the restroom.

deanomgwtf!!!p%3Fmsgid%3D4581997 (deangulberry), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 18:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I just realised something awful. When you work three days a week, as I do, EVERY SINGLE DAY IS LIKE A MONDAY!!! However, conversely, every single day is also Friday. So instead of the days of the week, you get three Monday mornings and three Friday afternoons. Wow, my life is so odd.

God, Dunkin Donuts ruined my iced cofee. Does asking for cream = making it paler than my skin?!!?!? FUCKYOU!

HAMBURGER NEURON GROUP (ex machina), Wednesday, 9 June 2004 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Today would have been the day to switch to iced coffee here in NYC -- it's gonna be like 95 degrees. I'm stuck with the hot stuff. For now.

rasheed wallace (rasheed wallace), Wednesday, 9 June 2004 11:49 (twenty-two years ago)
