I just went down to the cafeteria and there was a gaggle of special agents hanging around with their guns in their holsters wearing the bad suits and everything. It was all I could do not to walk by them going "Bum bum bum bum bum! Ba-Bum Bum, bum bum bum bum bum! Ba-Bum Bum, bum bum bum bum bum..." **

** bassline to "Police and Thieves" by The Clash, obv

Scaring the nation with their guns and ammunition!

Anyway, how's the weather where you live?

nice sunny day here. No "Dragnet" theme for those guys? Or maybe "X-Files?"

These guys were totally not cool enough for Dragnet. And so far I have seen no females packing around here at all.

The truth is out there.

btw no pistols in my actual workplace, but I work by Ground Zero and two stock exchanges, so every once in a while I get to see assault rifles while walking to work.

Pistols in my workplace = nobody would return books late. Ever.

Nothing beats the grenade launcher mounted on the Humvee at the gate to the parking lot at my old job.

We have a starter pistol in my office that we shoot off when the boss enters the building, then a flare gun for when she enters the office itself.

We have had 30 suicides in the past year.

Military officials with semi-automatics visited the office last month.

It's NOT a pistol in my pocket.

You really must improve your smuggling schemes.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 8 June 2004 13:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Thanks Mark.
I had to think about that for far too long, I think I need yet more coffee. Or perhaps more sleep.

We ended up blaming the competition, so we remain no.1. Rock that corruption, baby!
