Your Favourite Tang

What's your favourite tang? Mine is the citrus aftertaste on a bottle of Sobe Lizard Lava or whatever it's called.

Do people still lick pencil sharpeners? Does that still work?

The question about pencil sharpeners was a genuine one, btw - was it something to do with electrolysing or similar?

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 9 June 2004 15:46 (twenty-two years ago)

I have no idea what you're talking about - tasting pencil sharpeners? Do you mean like "tasting" 9-volt batteries to see if they still have energy left?

I don't think so - but there was definitely something powerful that went on between your tongue and the blade of the sharpener. Science geeks to thread!

Injecting spaces the HTML way:  &nbsp. (Hopefully using the escape characters to post the & character will cause the escape characters for a space to post.)

I love Sugar Free Tang. It's pretty much the only orange juice-like drink I will consume these days, since orange juice contains so much sugar, I feel uncomfortably light-headed after drinking it.

Orange.

Errr... do you mean the natural sugar? Or do they load sugar into the OJ you buy in the US? Can you not buy fresh OJ with no added sugar/water/sweetners? It isnt OJ otherwise to my mind!

Wow, I'm glad you explained that.

The natural sugars, Trayce. Oh God, I never even touched the fruit "juice" that was just like 25% REAL juice. No, I would usually check to see if it was actual juice and not just a juice drink. But even then, there's a lot of fructose in that drink.
