I'll start. It's a mathmatical term. It sort of means variation... but not really. Like, when you have a list of things, all the ways you can combine them are called...

Anyway, I'm thinking of a word that means "optimistic" but in a betraying way.

As in "The new album is going to blow your mind, said Bono, _______ly".

Can anyone help?
