These Trojan ads -- Are they offensive or am I just a jealous old prude?

I find them weirdly intrusive.

Which ads are these? Have I seen them? (read: are they on bus stops?)

Apostrophe Catastrophe (kate), Monday, 14 June 2004 09:07 (twenty-two years ago)

They're grainy ama-pr0n male POV shots of a girl on top, coming (I think is the idea). Then it says 'ribbed for her pleasure' or somesuch.

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 14 June 2004 09:08 (twenty-two years ago)

well, it does what it says on the tin i guess. none of this "getting puppies to advertise bum-paper" nonsense.

dog latin (dog latin), Monday, 14 June 2004 09:10 (twenty-two years ago)

good point! although does it do what it says on the tin? ads suggest these condoms will defo give your lady an orgasm. with alcohol, they aren't aloud to say 'this will make you attractive to the opposite sex'.

Enrique (Enrique), Monday, 14 June 2004 09:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh. Those. I don't know. Not what I want to be seeing when I'm waiting for the bus. If they *really* wanted to advertise them as being good for women, they would use hott boys in the ads. Not orgasmic women. "Buy this condom and you get to have sex with this dirty dronerock boy! (bicycle not included)"

Does that *LOOK* like a dirty dronerock boy to you? Does it?

Apostrophe Catastrophe (kate), Monday, 14 June 2004 10:24 (twenty-two years ago)

mmmmm....bikeboy....mmmmm.

i assume he didn't come back and ask you out once i'd left, kate?
