and I think she lost some Bright Eyes CD, maybe this one?

http://members.rogers.com/mark.pytlik/ughcouchugh.jpg

Apparently she left her door unlocked, which she's done many times at this apartment, which is fine with her apparently since all the stuff in this apartment is mine: tv, fridge, DVDs....furniture.

September, plz hurry thx

HI GUYZ

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 12:19 (twenty-two years ago)

She came home and actually said "waaaa, Gear, someone broke into my car, waaaa" (i.e. not crying, actually saying 'waaaa'). I felt bad for her so I gave her a Mooney Suzuki CD I had buried in my closet! oh man that's gonna come back to haunt me soon I think.

Subject: Franz Ferdinand!! (soo rockin!)
Body: Ok, so my good friend turned me onto this new band Franz Ferdinand. And may I say... freakin' AWESOME!! It has been so long since I heard songs sooo good and sooo rockin' that I have to blast it and actually jump around and dance and shake my booty! Seriously, this band rocks, and I mean that cool old fashioned funk edgey raw type of rock, with the catchiest hooks, but pure music all the way thru. An album that will make your head bop and foot tap involuntarily, for sure. Everyone should run out and buy it NOW!! You will NOT be dissappointed!

IS THIS YOUE ROOMIE?

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:25 (twenty-two years ago)

haha I just remembered another good story (that might be my roommate, she's loving the FF and is all like "they were named after Archduke Ferdinand")

She went and saw the Walkmen with a friend of hers and made an attempt to talk to the lead singer because "Oh. My. GOD! is he hot." he spurned her advances ("I was hoping to kiss him" she sez to me) and when that failed she "went to the upstairs lounge, grabbed the nearest cute boy and started kissing him, hee hee!"

also she was up late last night watching MTV while I was sitting in my room writing, and when I went out for a drink of water I had to gag because she'd QUITE CLEARLY BEEN FARTING, which seems to be a source of great amusement to her because as she said to me, "hee hee I tooted, sorry if it smells."

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:33 (twenty-two years ago)

you don't fart gear?

gem (trisk), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I sure do but not chronically and I don't giggle and call them "toots" either.

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

is your roomie hot?

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Gear!, don't you fear your roommate might stumble upon ILE and find all the disturbing things written about her?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:41 (twenty-two years ago)

that's funny, i was just thinking that exact same thing. the rogering/trucker hat thread is internationally renowned.

gem (trisk), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:42 (twenty-two years ago)

she turned my living room into Sodom and this is her hell

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:45 (twenty-two years ago)

gem (trisk), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:51 (twenty-two years ago)

gem (trisk), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I LUV FAETTY (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Gear the Bright Eyes sleeve is genius.

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I cannot take any credit for it, I believe it's Mark P's doing! it certainly is brilliant.

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 15:01 (twenty-two years ago)

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:46 (twenty-two years ago)

And Gear would sit next door and post about it.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I LUV FAETTY (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:48 (twenty-two years ago)

cutty (mcutt), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Come to L.A. on a Sunday, go see the scenestery '80s cover band the Spazmatics at Dragonfly on Santa Monica Blvd, and look for the girl flashing her teats to Andy Dick. That'd be her, then.

Gear! (Gear!), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Why included Gear's roomie? cutty and Jon should just do each other.

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 18:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Fun times:

5:30 this morning a couple of my roommate's crackhead friends come to the door and ring the doorbell for a couple of minutes. I eventually get up myself and answer the door, past my roommate who is sleeping on the accursed couch. I open the door and this one guy giggles and says "omg is she asleep? haha" so I slammed the door hard in his face, which woke her up. "Your friends are here" I told her. And of course I couldn't go back to sleep.

Earlier in the evening she asked me for advice on hitting on some guy who apparently is a writer for a local weekly. I told her to sit across from him, shoot a look down towards his crotch, and say "I really like your column" and wink. I was kidding, she loved the idea, saying "omg I'm so going to do that!" and left.

Gear! (Gear!), Thursday, 17 June 2004 15:49 (twenty-two years ago)

does your roomate do meth or something? that explain lots.

bill stevens (bscrubbins), Thursday, 17 June 2004 15:58 (twenty-two years ago)

i also do meth. that explains my poor spelling.

bill stevens (bscrubbins), Thursday, 17 June 2004 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I would joke about it but now I wonder what she's on, because when her friends came in she started rifling around in her room loudly, muttering something about needing to go to Glendale, and wondering where her keys were. She left and after she left I went out to make sure she had locked the front door which of course was not only unlocked but also ever-so-slightly ajar.

Gear! (Gear!), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

she's on nuthin but anal lovin. this girl sounds like a real meathole.

Velveteen Bingo (Chris V), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

cutty (mcutt), Thursday, 17 June 2004 16:32 (twenty-two years ago)

uhhhh, i went searching for pics of Angie Harmon to see what she looked like and came upon this weird site

WOMEN DO* HAVE DONE EITHER BALLBUSTING OR JUDO ON TV OR MOVIES

* their misspelling, not mine

JaXoN (JasonD), Thursday, 17 June 2004 17:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Seriously if Angie Harmon was doughy, 10 years younger, not married to Jason Sehorn, and an indie fop fetishist, she'd be my roommate.

Gear! (Gear!), Thursday, 17 June 2004 17:38 (twenty-two years ago)

THAT SOUNDS HOT!

JaXoN (JasonD), Thursday, 17 June 2004 17:43 (twenty-two years ago)
