Would you put one on your car? or are you afraid? I'm too scared, but it's a great idea.

I think 'Forget The Alamo' has a certain cachet.

Enrique (Enrique), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Why do you think it's a great idea? This isn't meant as a hostile question, I'm just interested.

"awesome leadership"

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:49 (twenty-two years ago)

More than three decades ago in Vietnam Captain Willard grandly commanded, for an unimpressive few months, a fishing-sized motorboat with a few enlisted men as crew. That's it! From this woefully limited ''military'' and ''executive'' resume, he expects us Americans to put aside our commonsense and feel snug and safe as pitifully inexperienced executive Colonel Kurtz looks out for our security, protecting us from the enemies we now know about in this dangerous world! Exterminate them all!

Toploader's non-existant bandwagon (Enrique), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:52 (twenty-two years ago)

these stupid motherfuckers, swift boat casualties were something like 75-80%. They are the real traitors.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:54 (twenty-two years ago)

h., isn't your sublettor a free republic fan?

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:10 (twenty-two years ago)

no, he does subscribe to Reason, though. And Spin!

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Objectivists always sound so loony.....

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:16 (twenty-two years ago)

seriously - how can any Bush supporter have the stones to call out anybody on their military service?

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:16 (twenty-two years ago)

this morning I was confronted by the image of Karen O's panty line on our kitchen table.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Did it make you forget 9/11?

*ROGERING GEAR!'S ROOMIE* (ex machina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:19 (twenty-two years ago)

See, that might be effective.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:19 (twenty-two years ago)

it made me think "the terrorists are right, our way of life and our freedoms must be destroyed."

My friend recently made a documentary about the Oakland Raider's parking lot scene, and one of the scenes shows Raiders fans trying to insult New York Jets fans... and this one fat guy with face paint hollered in the camera, "Fuck New York! Fuck the fucking World Trade Center!"

It was fucking hilarious.

andy, Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:17 (twenty-two years ago)

please to be sending me a copy of that documentary as soon as humanly possible, thanks much

"Why do you think it's a great idea? This isn't meant as a hostile question, I'm just interested."
just to see the reactions? I can't do it - I can't afford to have my windshield smashed out - but I would love to SEE the reactions. The final bumper sticker analysis was :
Support The Troops
Impeach Bush
Forget 9*11.

aimurchie, Tuesday, 15 June 2004 17:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Forgot About 9/11

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 17:10 (twenty-two years ago)
