Have you ever got your dream job...

And the dream life and realised that you did not actually want it. That is was a pipedream filled with shit? And that you never actually felt more claustophobic and more filled with self-loathing and loathing of the public at large?

Hey I got my dream. And it fucking sucks. And I'm not happy. Should I quit? I'm almost suicidal at the thought of continuing and/or on the cusp of tears.

you should try and find the job that's closer to your dreams than that still. :)

No job is worth that. Leave it.

i don't know who you are obv but i'm guessing that you haven't been in the job very well? keep plugging at it whilst looking ahead for other jobs. imagine what you'd be doing if you're not doing the job. quitting now isn't going to help you feel better.

"haven't been in the job for very long?", i meant to type, not "haven't been in the job very well", which doesn't make sense.

Although if it's causing that much pain or stress, it's not worth it. Perhaps give yourself another week to see how it pans out and then chuck it in if it's still as bad. If you make some decisions about it and have a get-out clause, you mightn't feel so awful which may in turn, help you look at it more objectively.
