I'm having an argument with someone about this (yes, it's a very stupid argument). Don't think, just answer. I need the ILM massive to prove me right.

Which is funnier:

Ferret...

or...

Defrock.

defrock

I'll second defrock.

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 00:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Definately defrock. The potential for double entendre is just so much richer.

Ferret.

I wonder if this is a US culture vs English-derivative culture thing.

Dirty Muriel (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 16 August 2004 00:39 (twenty-one years ago)

defrock

ferret was funnier in the 70's but it's a bit overplayed. Defrock is now funnier.

to paraphrase McGreevey, sort of, I am an American.

hstencil (hstencil), Monday, 16 August 2004 00:50 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm a ferret man myself

You should get a job in the Jim Rose Circus.

Defrock. But you could try getting away with adding ferret to the noun, verb or adjective thread.

Your search - "defrocked ferret" - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.

Defrock. I've got ferret as a noun and a verb, but an adjective? (I guess like ferret fur or something, but...)

A: She's a looker.

B: She's fit?

A: She's ferret fit, mate.

Ferret. It sounds funny and they move funny. The sound has to be funny as well - defrock has too many hard sylabbles. Context and meaning aside, of course. Zucchinni is funny. Summer squash isn't. Although squash is very funny. Maybe summer squash is funnier than zucchinni. Defrocked isn't funny sounding to me - puddle always makes me laugh, however.

aimurchie, Monday, 16 August 2004 10:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Aye, I'm not feeling dfrocked. Debagged is MUCH better. Ferret is an excellent word, as is analogue, especially when used in conjunction with ferret. Analogue ferret - see?

Jimmybommy JimmyK'KANG (Nick Southall), Monday, 16 August 2004 10:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Definitely defrock. Priests are funnier than animals.
