Companies that aren't official Olympic sponsors but pretend to be: C/D

So far I've seen two:

1. McDonald's claiming it's the 'official sponsor of fun and games,' with images of Ronald swimming, long jumping, &c.

2. LG claiming it's the 'official sponsor of eye candy,' followed by a slide that says: 'Official sponsor of LG'

Clearly they want the public to think they're official sponsors, without having to pay for the rights to be one. Tight-fisted wankers.

Sprint PCS too, right?

I like all the companies that run "athletics"- or "competition"-themed commercials during the Olympics, siphoning off the general spirit without being an official sponsor. I like to see how close they can come without infringing any copyrights. (This is like a footnote to my delight at attempts to "evoke"/"sound like" a particular song or piece of music in a commercial or TV show, without getting the rights to the real thing.)

I thought Mickey D's was actually an official sponsor. They always have been.
