Funny you should say this. As soon as I saw this thread, I checked in with my coworker Tom, noted Bruce Campbell and Raimi fanatic. Last year Tom saw Bruce present a screening of Bubba Ho-Tep around here -- apparently a very personable guy, unsurprisingly! -- and during the q/a part Bruce was asked about the possibility of this, as apparently rumors were already starting to circulate. Quoth The Man: "Oh, sure, I'd be up for it -- but Ash has to win, of course! He's only going in if he can kick some franchise ass!"
