My friend has recently started a quite successful local meme which is saying "Bobby time" as code for "time to do cocaine". "My time, your time - Bobby time." "What time is it? Bobby time!" Somewhat morbidly, Bobby is short for Bobby Sheehan (deceased of coke OD) from Blues Traveller. Somehow this highly hermetic reference had become so popular by the time I heard it I assumed it was about Bobby Brown. Worryingly, friend who coined Bobby time is now going on a 5-day-sleepless-bender + 1-day-rest cycle because he cannot stand the sight of his own mother at home. I've been a very good boy lately and I'm getting scared I'll never see him again ever once school starts for me.

this past 4th of july my ppl and i were watching the fireworks near this very very stoned black-trenchcoat meganerd who talked this hilarious, pauseless monologue into his friends ear abt all kinds of shit like architecture ("my perfect house would be like a treehouse but in a pot plant that was like fucking huge") but mostly about "deleted scenes" from several of his favorite films.

he was so repetitive that "deleted scenes" took on this mantra vibe; afterward i wz lobbying hard to get "deleted scenes" installed as a catch-all term for anything odd or clapped out or potentially dangerous, like yr coming out of the ass-end of a party and other ppl are coming in, you can wave them off and say "dude, it's totally deleted scenes in there." it never really worked.
