We need a term for the inevitable quiet period on ILX when the UKers are all out partying and the USers are slipping out of work early

Often at that hour no other thread is touched but the M & SF thread is pinned to the top of the New Answers. I just pass it by without entering, like I would an afterhours bar in a foreign city where I don't speak the language.

Oh James don't be like that. Johnny Foreigner often visits us on the mongrel/sheepfuxor thread and is made most welcome. It is a long and noble tradition, started, if I remember aright, by Ned Raggett. We have even had non-Australians inaugurate each new M/SF thread, though that tradition appears to have lapsed somewhat recently. For which I'd like to say sorry.

electricsound, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:33 (eighteen years ago)

It takes her four hours to remove her mascara.

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:34 (eighteen years ago)

Those are not tights, she actually paints red and black lines on her legs.

Autumn Almanac, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:50 (eighteen years ago)

She sleeps during the daytime.

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:53 (eighteen years ago)

in a fold in the drapes.

estela, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:54 (eighteen years ago)

The rest of the mongrels sleep together in a huge bed.

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 03:57 (eighteen years ago)

sometimes i wonder if i could do better.

estela, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:04 (eighteen years ago)

electricsound, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:05 (eighteen years ago)

estela, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:06 (eighteen years ago)

He's precocious, certainly, and he knows exactly what it takes to make a pro blush.

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:08 (eighteen years ago)

i think he's a spy, do you boys agree?

electricsound, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:09 (eighteen years ago)

Mate, I don't have to think twice about that one. He's pure as New York snow, if you know what I mean: extremely dirty, in other words.

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:12 (eighteen years ago)

at least he bleaches his pillow case.

estela, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:14 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, is that what is was?

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:18 (eighteen years ago)

don't you guys already have a thread?

tehresa, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:19 (eighteen years ago)

Oh, so we're confined to our thread now?

moley, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:25 (eighteen years ago)

we all feel hurt now, esteban will have to sing 'i honestly love you' tonight to cheer us up.

estela, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:31 (eighteen years ago)

just a lil fun ;)

tehresa, Wednesday, 13 February 2008 04:37 (eighteen years ago)

we weren't really hurt.
