Candy-accompanying Toy recalled over Creepy similarity to September 11

A wholesaler in Miami, Fla. is recalling 14,000 bags of candy containing this toy, right, that shows a plane flying into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Lisy Corp. said the toys were purchased in bulk and the company did not notice what the small figurines depicted until someone complained

I mean, if someone had handed me that before 11/09/01, I'd have probably thought "that's a cute little thing, what is it supposed to do?" To be honest, unless someone had pointed out what it actually was, I'd probably still think that, b/c I doubt I'd have actually "got it".

If you Google that company, you see they've also been charged with high levels of sulfite in shrimp products and lead in candy wrappers. Maybe they have some underworld connections.
