assuming you do?

MarkH (MarkH), Saturday, 28 August 2004 14:51 (twenty-one years ago)

for some ppl, after all, the answer is going to be zero, and I'm not necessarily confining that to those ppl who are attached. You know, it is quite coomonplace to hear ppl saying "If it happens it happens" or even "If you go round WANTING it to happpen then it WON'T happen, it only happens when you least expect it".

MarkH (MarkH), Saturday, 28 August 2004 14:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Does actively looking include catching the eye of pretty girls in the street?

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 28 August 2004 14:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Per week:

Actively looking - 5 minutes or so
Thinking about actively looking - 45-60 minutes
Convincing myself that it's probably not worth the bother - 2 maybe 3 hours

Does actively searching include grudge fucks?

Jimmy Mod, Man About Towne (ModJ), Saturday, 28 August 2004 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

that's brilliant Joseph Pot! LOL

MarkH (MarkH), Saturday, 28 August 2004 15:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm so getting one of those badges for the mister.

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 28 August 2004 15:09 (twenty-one years ago)

None at present, but when I have been it's been an hour or two minimum a week, several hours (maybe ten or more) some weeks, maybe one in four.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 28 August 2004 19:14 (twenty-one years ago)

I expect to find one when I am 72

gabbneb (gabbneb), Saturday, 28 August 2004 19:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Actively pursuing someone NEVER works for me. If I meet a woman who strikes my fancy, I really have to relax and let things work themselves out over time. Otherwise, nothing happens.

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 28 August 2004 19:23 (twenty-one years ago)

I have kind of accepted that I'm never going to have any relationships with anyone ever again.

caitlin (caitlin), Saturday, 28 August 2004 20:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I have kind of accepted that I'm never going to have any relationships with anyone ever again.

I'm sorry to hear that. What makes you think so?

Tantrum The Cat (Tantrum The Cat), Saturday, 28 August 2004 20:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Because it just isn't going to happen. Nobody is going to find me attractive on sight, because I just don't look attractive. Nobody is going to find me attractive over time, because sooner or later I'm going to do something incredibly stupid and destructive which will drive them away from me.

caitlin (caitlin), Saturday, 28 August 2004 20:59 (twenty-one years ago)

(like posting posts like that on threads like this. I should get one of those badges.)

caitlin (caitlin), Saturday, 28 August 2004 21:03 (twenty-one years ago)

None. But I sometimes feel that perhaps I should eb looking.

isadora (isadora), Saturday, 28 August 2004 21:21 (twenty-one years ago)

jess (dubplatestyle), Saturday, 28 August 2004 21:22 (twenty-one years ago)

x j e r e m y (x Jeremy), Saturday, 28 August 2004 22:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 28 August 2004 22:15 (twenty-one years ago)

jess (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 29 August 2004 00:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I found my perfect partner but her dad intervened. Sigh...

I did meet two girls who new her though, which is the next best thing...right?

Sir Dante Evans (Sean3), Sunday, 29 August 2004 00:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Maria (Maria), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:00 (twenty-one years ago)

jess (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:03 (twenty-one years ago)

jess (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Get a room.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Isn't Sinead O'Connor already married?

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:08 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, the issue isn't refusal, it's that some girls just have guys falling over them and then some of us have to be like "HEY! OVER HERE!"

Maria (Maria), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:09 (twenty-one years ago)

to the sea.

xpost

jess (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 29 August 2004 01:10 (twenty-one years ago)

g--ff (gcannon), Sunday, 29 August 2004 02:04 (twenty-one years ago)

slightly shady balding loners with paunches who hunch over and look uncomfortable in most social situations who study maths are attractive.

youn, Sunday, 29 August 2004 03:38 (twenty-one years ago)

You really think so? Naaaaw.

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 29 August 2004 04:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Interesting thread for me, not having read this place for ages, since 'very little time' has recently become 'absolutely none!' since my earlier efforts have netted me a stalker!

(No, this is not a joke. And why are stalkers always butt-ugly, anyway?)

_chrissie (chrissie1068), Sunday, 29 August 2004 17:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Frankly, I'd say most butts are more attractive than most stalkers.

caitlin (caitlin), Sunday, 29 August 2004 17:35 (twenty-one years ago)

the search consumes my soul like a wildfire, burning away all the leaves until there is nothing but an ashen skeleton. just when you think you've completed the quest, "something" always comes up.

pain....pain....pain.....

latebloomer (latebloomer), Sunday, 29 August 2004 17:41 (twenty-one years ago)

(I'm only half joking...)
