he's not gay, apparently, and I seem to remember that he auditioned for the part of Nate originally.

I do think he's good although I've found parts of his character tiresome this year (and everyone else, for that matter).

He was also in the dreadful Ben Affleck sci-fi film "Paycheck," though it was a pretty small part.

Michael C. Hall went to my college, but graduated before I was there. They still have pictures of him in roles down in the green room. From what I've heard he's very nice and not actor-ish at all, and like kyle says not really gay, although he keeps being cast as such. He also played the Emcee in Cabaret to much acclaim.
