I am an australian artist travelling to NY in december/january, and am trying to (belatedly yes) organise some exhibition of my art work. Here I pray for Knowledge of artist run organisations and spaces that may be open to neurotic minimalist sculpture in the tom friedman/ ricky swallow vein.Mucho appreciation. Ive tried Goliath but cant seem to find anywhere else that shows half way decent stuff. kisses in advance!!

I used to gallery-sit for a gallery on Mercer Street in Soho. Purportedly the "second oldest are co-op in NYC," it seemed like a pretty cool, open-minded place. This was the very early 90's, though, so I don't know what they're like now. Good luck, though.

James Blood Ulmer is 80 now. ...Richard McGuire is best known now for books and doing the art on some New Yorker covers, but he was in Liquid Liquid.

I hope they put some of this online. There’s an Instagram page too
