i found this after reading an article on the BBC website about technology boosting emotional connections.

it's so cool! you hug one pillow and the other one responds. i really want one.

any other examples of things like this that serve very little purpose, but might make someone grin?

Wait, aren't these normally called cushions?
xpost - that thing is really creepy

beanz (beanz), Monday, 13 September 2004 15:09 (twenty-one years ago)

But it's JUST like the real thing (if he'd been decapitated and cut in half). What's creepy?

I think those interactive pillows might just make me miss the absent loved one more. Do they escalate into signals for 'now I am wanking and thinking about you'?

Archel (Archel), Monday, 13 September 2004 15:14 (twenty-one years ago)

YIKES what if the signal comes across as "now I am wanking and thinking of someone else"???

Dan Perry '08 (Dan Perry), Monday, 13 September 2004 15:15 (twenty-one years ago)

this is up my alley.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Monday, 13 September 2004 15:15 (twenty-one years ago)
