Was kind of decent when I was a good deal younger, but extra fat + fewer hairs put paid to that. Actually, fewer hairs != true, they just migrate to other, less wlecome, parts of the body.

Alcoholics apparently don't go bald because large quantites of alcohol either imitate or produce (can't remember which) oestrogen. Explains a lot...

"Chivalric" is the adjective most often used to describe me.

Passing the louts who swig mead outside the smithy on what I call "the village groin", I'll inevitably hear some lionheart pipe up: "Oi, Chivalric!"

Or, purchasing lilies, foxgloves and lavender down at the greenhouse behind the Blazon Inn - which I like to call "the Bastard's Anus" - I'll see the proprietor, Joseph, leaning over the fence saying: "You're looking fucking chivalric today, sir!"

It may of course be down to this suit of armour I wear, or the strong scent of the stable that surrounds me. But I believe there's some deeper intuition in the villagers which allows them to access buried memories and historical antecedents.

When I am simply clanking across the village groin, going about my daily business, William the cooper sees the Black Prince at Poitiers.
