Guesses to cause of death? Suspicious at all or natural?

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:08 (twenty-one years ago)

this one appears to be true

cinniblount (James Blount), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Of course it is. Sorry I should've added I just heard it on BBC World Service.

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:12 (twenty-one years ago)

He was 75 and had a brain haemorrhage, what do you think? I don't think Mossad are that good.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm saddened by his death, and don't want anyone to 'call me out' for being so. This will give me something else to think about on this armistice day. RIP.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:14 (twenty-one years ago)

But what made him sick in the first place? What caused the coma and the organ shutdowns, etc. Does modern medicine really just shrug their shoulders these days? There had to have been an underlying cause or event.

I'm not cheering his death either.

trigonalmayhem (trigonalmayhem), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:22 (twenty-one years ago)

well, he sure was good at stealing money from Palestinians.

Shmool McShmool (shmuel), Thursday, 11 November 2004 04:43 (twenty-one years ago)

he's practically Israeli.

DV (dirtyvicar), Thursday, 11 November 2004 18:27 (twenty-one years ago)

A good thing, considering they've been planning his funeral all week. I kept getting Monty Python "I'm not dead yet" flashbacks.

Layna Andersen (Layna Andersen), Thursday, 11 November 2004 19:17 (twenty-one years ago)

now that's just mean, DV. the guy just died, have some respect.

Shmool McShmool (shmuel), Thursday, 11 November 2004 20:36 (twenty-one years ago)

He's right, actually. Arafat's mother's family was from Jerusalem. That's one reason why he wanted to be buried there.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 11 November 2004 22:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, from Jerusalem before the modern state of Israel.

Kevin Gilchrist (Mr Fusion), Thursday, 11 November 2004 22:17 (twenty-one years ago)
