Due to job I'm on here at odd times (generally first thing in the morning / some point in the afternoon on my split / v. late at night when I get back), so i think I bump into pretty much everybody at some point.

Being unemployed and having only sporadic web access has affected my ILX discussion (or lack thereof) more than anything else.

I mean, I just *can't* keep up with gigantic 200+ post discussions any more, which always used to be my favourite passtime.

I tend to post my blog entry for the day at around 1pm Central European time. The first comments are usually somewhat rude and hostile. That's because British people are reading and commenting. Later in the day, as Americans rouse themselves from sleep and come online, more polite comments fill the page.
