Just for the record I am NOT suggesting Arjen Robben is a murderer, I was JOKING. I think he's a fucking fantastic footballer, even if he did go to the wrong London title challengers. Sorry, HOLDERS.

They handed the stockbroker guy an envelope before shooting him. Surely this is the sort of thing criminals only actually do in films?

I never realised that Banking was such a high risk industry.

I like to think that this is the work of a super-principled anti-capitalist assassin who has taken it upon himself to rid the world of some of its greediest people.

The headline on the newsstands was "City boss murdered in Chelsea". I thought, my God, Mourihno is a really bad loser. Best let them have the title.

Obviously a tragic, horrible way to die, but this story took up the entire first five pages of last night's Evening Standard - he was part of the Monckton family, a "witty, decent man of integrity", this is where Bill Wyman and other various celebs live, blah blah blah. If it had been some 17-y-o in Peckham or Hackney it would've been page 14 with the vague suggestion it was their own fault.

I know; 'I became incredibly wealthy and moved away from the grubby crime infested areas, but they followed us to nice places like Chelsea. It's not on.' But more tellingly, given the readership is more skewed to out-of-towners, is that it will reassure everyone commutting to Essex and Hertfordshire that they've made the right choice to buy a pile in the sticks. And reasurring readers is a sure-way to retain them. The Standard, as hateful as it is, provides wonderful windows into the existential fears of the middling-to-wealthy.

I thought this was going to be a thread about how Chelsea Clinton had gone on a rampage of muder and was now being hunted down by the cops.
