We're skipping a month guest DJ wise because there's a restriction on what people can play, so it'll just be us. Also we're greedy.

also helpful tips re: getting face pics taken - it's almost impossible to take unblurry photos of people in the light level of the chapel bar with my camera. best way to get photo taken is while taking alcohol breaks from the dancing, pose dramatically and it'd be photos galore.

ken if your camera is like mine the 'night filter' or whatever it is that makes everything so red and blurred is bloody useless. better off using the flash (except flash makes everything look so static and drab)

steve that's it, it's the "no flash" option - i kind of like it because it captures the colour of the place pretty well (which basically was red!) it's just that if my hand is even slightly shakey or if people are moving then it's blur time

Thanks everyone for coming, I enjoyed it more than a lot. The next one will be on the 24th February, no theme as such but I think I'll be doing a set of cover versions (caution will include europop).

Before that on the 10th we have an engagement at Nambucca and will be on our best behaviour for that (i.e. no Schnappi) - you are welcome to come as I believe Mr Carsmile said upthread.

Before THAT there's my office party to which you are NOT welcome but it's going to be playing all sorts of tat to 500 people, some of whom think Razorlight are good, so you wouldn't want to come anyway. I'm a bit nervous and thinking largely of the money. No Schnappi there either I'm guessing.

Nope, they stopped about a year or so ago after a general dwindling of attendance and the organisers having other commitments. There was a one-off old-skool chart rave one last month though, which was fun.
