Hello everyone. This Friday I am DJing at Club Seal, upstairs at the Islington Academy, hopefully giving a bit of a popist twist to the night. Other DJs include my very good friends Gareth and Ollie, who some of you have met, and possibly Charlie #4, I don't know.

It would be very nice to see some of you there, especially if you are, say, coming down from Glasgow to go to a young person's dance event the following night.

The arrangement is the same as the last couple of times we've done this - ie meet over the road at the Red Lion from about 9ish. I have no idea what time I am on, as yet.

Might pop down for a jar or two though. Have to pick up my minidisc placer anyway, which I cleverly (ie STUPIDLY) left plugged into the mixer last time.

I'm definitely coming along for pre-club drinkies, but don't know how much dancing and clubbing I will be feeling up to. Also don't know what time I'll be getting there, possibly early, depending on what time Suzy chucks me out. :-)

Have had mysterious message from The Spy, in code, naturally, and either he's saying he's coming along or else he's mercilessly taking the piss out of me. Will accordingly be spending the rest of the afternoon up at MI5 feeding said message through an Enigma machine trying to figure it all out. Dammit, tis neither a masonic code nor a Templar code that I recognise. Where is Dan Brown when you need him?

Speaking as the only ILX0r who has ever actually been to Club Seal while on hallucinogens, NO NO NO NO, BAAAAAAAADDD IDEA!!! Club Seal + drugs = BAD PANIC ATTACKS and running around Islington the rest of the night quoting Blake and Pepys.

Yeah, but i didn't get that. I'm afraid I have put it all into the hands of my accountant so I still understand bugger all about it, but someone else is doing it for me. I was ALMOST too embarassed to mention this, but then the old attention seeker got the better of me. The Club Seal team (well, two thirds of us anyway) will be playing at this in the main room at the Islington Academy this weekend. If any of you like that sort of thing/have no shame whatoever/have nothing better to do on Saturday then come along.

This is a trial run for what might become a semi-regular slot that may or may not involve a London ILX DJ who will remain nameless but is frightfully obvious anyway.

No, Bardens is actually quite big. Too big, considering the nights they usually get in there. Optimo should pack it out though.
