Twisted Tales - BBC3

So, a vaguely humorous take of Roald Dahl's Tales Of The Completely Expected then?

I had been quite looking forward to this, but it seemed to shoot it's load with the AAAH, DID YOU SEE, THE BLOKE HE TOLD TO FUCK OFF EARLIER HAD A PHONE AS WELL 'twist', which was completely undermined as it repeated it at the end for good measure.

I expected better from the Dead Ringers writing team. Just think, we have the joys of a Two Pints Of Lager... writer to come in episode 4. If anybody actually watches it.

Oi, a good friend of mine is a writer on 2 Pints. Though I don't think he has written this.

Episode 2 doesn't do much to change my initial thoughts.

It's hard to see how a show starring Paul Darrow and Mary Tamm, riding round on the back of a bear in a top hat, could be bad but this tries very hard. Huge amounts of direct lifts from other things too, notably Rosemary's Baby - despite the fact they add nothing to the plot by the end.

If I remember, I might give it a final chance next week.
