did you like it?

just wondering.

what do you think of it, even if you haven't been and know something about it?

OK, you don't need to know anything.

what do you think?

That looks funky. I wouldn't mind living in a place like that, I don't think. I wonder what kinds of neighbors you would have.

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 19:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Ok I looked at the homepage. They want people to live in greenhouses bolted onto Paddington station?

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 19:37 (twenty-one years ago)

essentially.

it's pads in beddington, though, not beds in paddington.

jed_ (jed), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 21:17 (twenty-one years ago)

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 21:20 (twenty-one years ago)

it's a report.

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 19 January 2005 21:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I go by it on the train to work. It looks a lot more fun and interesting than the boring housing estates around it. I'm not sure I would want to live there. Unless I got to choose the colour of my chimneypot-sail thing.

(i think there was more discussion on this before, on some architecture prize thread when they were shortlisted for an award.)

Yes, my Stirling Prize thread. Wherever it's got to.

I remember driving past this on the Megabus once. It sounds and looks quite cool. But you'd still be in Surrey.

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 20 January 2005 13:45 (twenty-one years ago)
