Aw. (Check the main page for said phrase being used as a sub-headline.) It's nice that George is more gentlemanly on his dates with Tony now.

The prime minister said Mr Bush had learned military force was not the only way to fight terrorism.

The president understood that while military and security measures were important, there also needed to be a multilateral approach to solving the world's problems.

I guess Bush is a really great guy after all. Group hug.

And tomorrow Bush will finally find out who the dish ran away with

Stevem On X (blueski), Thursday, 20 January 2005 14:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Blair's cozying up to Bush may be lame and embarrasing, but to me it's mothing compared to the mutual scene he's got going on w/berlusconi. I find that to be nauseating.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 20 January 2005 14:35 (twenty-one years ago)

He was misquoted. He actually said "sensual".

beanz (beanz), Thursday, 20 January 2005 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I preferred the BT/Yahoo headline this morning - "PM Looking Forward to "More Consensual" Bush". Change from rape and pillage, I suppose.

This headline conjured up a whole bunch of nasty mental images I would have rather not had.

Leon the Fatboy (Ex Leon), Thursday, 20 January 2005 20:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Happy Inauguration Day!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 20 January 2005 20:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm in Australia and I had to avoid that fucking inauguration on two networks.

Oh, wait, I think we're the 51st state of the US now.

Juan, the Magic Don (jingleberries), Thursday, 20 January 2005 20:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't even want to go into how scary and nauseating his address was.

Leon the Fatboy (Ex Leon), Thursday, 20 January 2005 20:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Haha meanwhile we're still creeping up on Canada! GO USA!

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 20 January 2005 20:58 (twenty-one years ago)
