lego-style component system for making cd-racks, guitar stands -- lost link?

many years back there was a cool but very expensive
rod,frame, and bracket component system for constructing all
kinds of furniture/knick knacks. it was all the rage
on whatever passed for blogs back then -- you could
make a tiny coffee table, cd racks, a guitar stand and
whatever you could think up with these components.
i suspect they've gone out of business, but does anyone
know how to get ahold of these things, or even what their
name was?
