Haha, none that I can think of!

So why's it so quiet these days?

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 25 January 2005 11:44 (twenty-one years ago)

People got lives and stopped posting just for the sake of it and started posting when they had something to say?

Sorry, I'm just being devil's advocate here. I actually prefer it at this pace, I think.

I mean, ILE in particular is going through one of those periods where there are lots of individual topics being discussed and some pretty good threads but at the same time that does encourage ghettoisation according to what people are interested in now. There's less 'chatting' going on as far as I can see and I'm fairly okay with that.

I haven't seen Tim or Pete recently, but I haven't been looking.

Dunno, someone at least said that he/she is checking ILE less often because the "unread messages" option is down.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 25 January 2005 12:41 (twenty-one years ago)

(But it's better to have a working ILX, even without that option, right?)

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 25 January 2005 12:43 (twenty-one years ago)

That is the biggest loss, I think - it's annoying not having it, but you get used to it after a while.

I am likely to move desks soon, and my new position is just next to my boss who'll be able to see (and possibly read, I'm not quite sure) my screen if she turns her head 90% to the right. I am sad about this, but it may well make me work more efficiently, and I kind of do need to do that to forward my career.

ILM is pretty good at the moment.

The whole internet's quiet tonight. There's a party next door, maybe everyone's gone there.
