I hate the fuck out of pledge drives I can't help it I'm human. Hasn't there got to be a better way? And isn't it great you can use and abuse ILX all day all year and no one guilt trips you**

Idea I had for the NPR music station in the DFW area (KXT 91.7) - why not sell a one hour show every week for a donation ($250+, whatever) where every music nerd who didn't have a college radio show gets to live their dream of programming a show with whatever they want to play (within FCC limits)?

Are there non-profit stations out there that do this?
