holy shit

Shakey Mo Collier, Tuesday, 7 June 2005 19:27 (twenty-one years ago)

My roommate for some odd reason has spent endless shit tons of money to build a fuckoff massive collection of these. I'm not sure what I think of them, except that the Homies shot glasses he has are ginormous, and, therefor, classic.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 7 June 2005 19:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I had a whole bunch at one point two or three years ago and then gave up when I started seeing them everywhere.

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 00:25 (twenty-one years ago)

what are they? just shot glasses?

gem (trisk), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 00:31 (twenty-one years ago)

the one in red looks like mekhi phifer in 8mile

dj, Wednesday, 8 June 2005 00:47 (twenty-one years ago)

They look like dust collectors from here.

jim wentworth (wench), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 00:48 (twenty-one years ago)

what are they? just shot glasses?

They are ghetto figurines.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 01:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Newfangled Smurfs.

walter kranz (walterkranz), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 01:56 (twenty-one years ago)

i think there's a pretty major difference between homies and ghettopoly but i'll be damned if i can quantify it.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 02:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, race can be a hot-button issue.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 02:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I've had Wheelchair Homie on my comp at work for years :).

svend (svend), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 03:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I have sooooooooo many of these at work...

ARE YOU ME?

Cuz I have the whole second series! 'cept for one guy whose hat fell off and then he only had half a head so I chucked him.

They were more classic when you had to get them out of the quarter dispensers and you didn't know which chica you were going to wind up with. Now you can buy the whole set at once and that ruins all the fun.

kyle (akmonday), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 03:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I mean, the disappointment in getting your fifth Shygirl on the way home after work in the autumn of 2002 is perhaps not very easy to convey here but it could be heartwrenching

kyle (akmonday), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 03:49 (twenty-one years ago)

omg

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 06:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw these for the first time in real life last night, in the quarter machine at the Chinese Buffet. They were mixed in with GhettoDogz. Are these their canine companions?

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 13:06 (twenty-one years ago)

so true. also: that one little dude who was shrugging with his hands up in front of him as if to say, "i know this is the tenth time you got me. what are you gonna do about it?".

lauren (laurenp), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 13:11 (twenty-one years ago)

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 13:55 (twenty-one years ago)

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:03 (twenty-one years ago)

These are good!

A lot of tension.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:03 (twenty-one years ago)

could probably use some captions.

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:04 (twenty-one years ago)

i think that would kill the tension!

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:06 (twenty-one years ago)

How that one guy can just idly stand and pick his nose with so much pain and chaos around him...nerves of steel.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:08 (twenty-one years ago)

He gives me hope for the new generation, and maybe a better world all round.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:08 (twenty-one years ago)

he's obviously catatonic!

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:10 (twenty-one years ago)

You gave me a homie. He sits above my powerbook.

Yakuza Ghost Six (nordicskilla), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:16 (twenty-one years ago)

aww!

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:19 (twenty-one years ago)

there's something so touching about the sentence "You gave me a homie."

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:19 (twenty-one years ago)

or possibly upsetting.

s1ocki (slutsky), Wednesday, 8 June 2005 19:19 (twenty-one years ago)

You gave me a homie, and all I ever gave you was my heart.
