any idea how much getting tested at planned parenthood would cost? I'd like to remain anonymous so I imagine I'd have to pay some fee (i.e. without insurance).

Not true. It depends where you are (some clinics have sliding scales, some don't) and whether you qualify for medicaid type programs. Call your local clinic.

STI = sexually transmissible infection
STI is the CDC's preferred new term.
