Does anyone else stare mindlessly into ILX while waiting for significant other to finish up whatever s/he's doing?

I stare into ILX at work because I'm "up" and there is no work to be done.

At home, I stare into ILX because my s.o. is always doing something and I'm waiting for her to finish so that we can hang out. Then, she tends to pass out on the couch and so I continue to stare into ILX.

Other than this, I read books. So, it appears I read basically all the time. I don't actually resort to hanging out with other people when my s.o. is busy. I am only inclined to like one person at a time, actually.

Is everyone else doing the same thing? Or are you actually just ignoring your significant others in favor of ILX?

My s.o. ignores me due to World of Warcraft. I therefore read ILX as it means I can interact with people without having to go out of the house.

My gf just works a lot this time o' year, plus she has a start-up on the side that consumes a lot of her time. I'm not going to leave her for that.

You could of course help your partner with whatever chores she's doing. She'll be finished earlier and you can do something fun (like SEX, TALK, or whatEVER else you like doing together). :-)
