i say classic
she is very sharp, very funny, quite witty, doesnt have good taste in hip hop (she likes sage francis), but i think she is fab. one of the most lively writers i have read. she is the best. i feel like breaking out into a wesley willis moment.
sophie, this ones for you.
anyone know if she is fit?

C. her Har Mar Superstar feature in Loose Lips was wonderful, and so far exceeded what i was hoping the piece would be.

two months pass...
dude, get over this obsession at once. the heawood is not as pretty a pony as you might think. nor is she as nice as you might like to imagine. stop fantasising what a writer might be like just from what they write. its a dangerous game that you can never win. trust me - i know. this is a serious business. let the dream go.

emsk ( emsk), Friday, 16 December 2005 02:00 (twenty years ago)

Good heavens, Emsk, I meant him/her/it. The lifeform you're responding to. If it is a lifeform.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 16 December 2005 02:05 (twenty years ago)

i got a good heavens, yay! hello, ned, and thanks for your email. i have a Very Important Meeting and a grandma to meet off a train and a long grey overcoat to deliver to some shady character off the interweb tomorrow but will hopefully have responsetime saturday... in the meantime i'm so glad you liked the book and you made me want to re-read it myself.

haha the him/wotsit above's post made me giggle. i like sophie.
