i just signed up to do this - any opinions on how good/reliable/efficient it is? for 7.99 supposedly i will get sent 4 dvds a month. sounds quite good to me considering that my local video shop charges 3quid per dvd for a few days. im just wondering how much it will cost to send the dvds back each month.

amazon.co.uk:

Free delivery *and return* (via First Class post)

'Free' here means 'included in the monthly cost' rather than 'free' but hey...

there were places where they'd send you dvds as fast as you could watch and return them, for higher monthly cost admittedly. people elsewhere on these boards started complaining that they were getting things from way down in their wants lists. er, search for netflix or lovefilm.

um, renting DVDs through amazon.co.uk - C or D?

I've been doing it for about 3 months and it's fantastic. It doesn't cost anything to send them back - you get a prepaid mailer. You can't control the order they come, but who cares about that?

You can control the order they come - you can set the priority status on the 'your rental account' bit. I've been doing it for about six months and it's great. I love that I can get boxsets of stuff on telly. I am currently eagerly anticipating the arrival of 'State of Play'. Total classic, I reckon.
