Help motivate me to prepare for an interview in less than two hours time

I guess the fact I'm even posting on here shows I'm not really giving it much attention.

I don't know, this interview was put back, and put back again, and has generally made me think they might be disorganised shits. However, I quite fancy the job, and it could be very (technically) stimulating.

But I'm vaguely looking at the paperwork in front of me, and can't be arsed. We moved to 'competence' based assessment a few years ago, which translates to vague terms that don't tell you anything about how good someone is, and the interview has to be conducted on that basis.

Somebody motivate me to read any of it, please?

Skim over it and see if anything interesting jumps out at you. If not - fuck it.

Ken is OTM, but we all know that's not going to happen.

I've skimmed the stuff I should be reading, and I think all I need to do is be able to talk more about what was on my (competence based) application.

Frankly, I'm taking my absolute disinterest as an indicator of how much I'm really bothered about this.

Well it can be quite difficult to prepare in advance anyway. If you know the kinds of things they are going to ask then you're probably fine already, and if you don't know then you can't prepare.

Better to concentrate on being bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, friendly, and confident once you get in there. If you want the job that is.

Though looking at the time it might be too late already!

I'm leaving my desk to go to it in about 10 minutes.

I've read a bit more, and there's one acronym currently evading me, but apart from that I'm relatively happy with what I think I know vs what they might ask.

Go for it, be a winner. Second best is for losers.

Good luck, Aldo!

That went OK, I think.

There was only one thing I didn't answer as well as I could have, and that was mainly due to how the question was worded (and the fact the answer he wanted isn't technically correct).
