Watch first season DVDs of Veronica Mars (oh to be home today)
Bake apple pies
Darn socks
Open bathroom window & take v hot bath to reproduce effect of outdoor hot tub
Drink endless peppermint hot chocolate at nearest coffee shop & do NYT crossword

Fair enough, these are the things *I* would do today, were I not at work.

i don't have any reason to be outdoors until this evening (i had a 10 a.m. meeting but that's done with already). i'm going to polish up my "letter of intent" for my grad school applications. and drink lots of tea. and try not to post too much to ilx.

For a tourist, hmmms.

* Chelsea Piers batting cages

* Memorize Grand Central's layout

* Walk outside, but hold a Papaya dog in each hand

* Wait until city is converted into massive indoor Americal Apparel annex (soon)

* Manhattan Mall? Bloomingdale's? I'm grasping here.

I would go to the Met for Fra Angelico and Van Gogh, but if museums are out, go to Lincoln Center. you can:
- go to the free Juilliard concert at Alice Tully at 1
- see a movie or two at Walter Reade/Lincoln Plaza/Lincoln Square
- get coffee/read at Cafe Mozart
- go to the NY Historical Society for the slavery exhibit
- wander in Tower or Barnes & Noble
