I was going to say "but it's so obviously a FAKE!!!" but that is the point - that it was in authentically faked as an anachronistic alien. (Though honestly, isn't the "wrapped in the Daily Mail from 1947" enough of a tip-off?)

The 'experts' say it was done in the 60s. But who'd keep a copy of the Daily Mail for 20 years with the intention of making a clay alien look more authentic?

The man was from Norfolk, as in Nordic folk, as in the Nordic alien species? I think this definitely proves that eh, well, nothing really.

I keep a 12 foot lizard in my bath. I think I'll wrap it in copies of the Sunday Express.

it would've been better to create a mock newspaper from the year 2007, to really mess with heads. also dress the alien up in Nazi uniform, y'know, just because...

Prince Harry's an alien?

beanz (beanz), Tuesday, 7 February 2006 13:42 (twenty years ago)

no way a "grey" in the 60s, it wd have been green -- that's a post-communion alien

That's assuming greys are a work of fiction.

Aliens must be on an inverse time line to the rest of us. How else could they have changed from green to grey during the same decade colour television became popular?
