Wisconsin was supposed to be the end all be all king shit of turd mountain greatest team evar this year, yet when Michigan Tech (ahem, my alma mater) handed them their first WCHA loss they went on a bit of a slump. Now they're doing all right? I haven't paid close enough attention as of late. They're definitely to be respected.

three weeks pass...
Bump this for three reasons:
1. Because Wisconsin wins by beating Boston College 2-1 in the final.
2. Because UW also won the women's hockey championship.
3. To point out that Super Yooper started this thread, bragged about Michigan Tech, admitted that he hasn't been following college hockey much, then disappeared. Hmm.
Anyway, it was all very hard-fought, esp. Wisconsin's win over Colgate (three overtimes) and BC's win over Maine, a no-defense 6-5 triumph. College hockey is cool and you guys know it.
