Should I Buy A Refurbished IPod??

thinking about buying one off of amazon,or ebay. anybody have a good experience with this? or should i just expect it to blow up if i look at it wrong?

i dunno.. don't iPods get scratch marks all over it after like a day of using it? would the refurbishment get rid of those?

actually i guess the fact that it gets all scratched after a day is probably the best reason to buy it second hand!

If you're going refurbished I'd try Apple themselves - http://promo.euro.apple.com/promo/refurb/uk/ so you can get it repaired free if it flakes out in the first year (highly likely acc. to the guy who picked up my ibook for repairs twice).
