Blarney:C/D?

i hate those people who lick their bosses ass all day, some of just doing it all the time, to everyone, and it seems it works! cause they do promote their interests.
people love compliments, even if't its fake, even if sometimes they suspect of the fake..

i can't do it! i might be too honest and direct, but i won't change for nobody.can't lie to myself.
being direct can cause you trouble and inconvenience, but it feels better.
should i change and endeavour a bit of blarney behaviour!?
