Wow, a fact-based Howard Hawksish plot given contemplative treatment ... Unofficial armed band goes after killers of Tibetan antelope in the 1990s. Widescreen mountain vistas, quicksand, slow deaths, moral ambiguity. Produced by the Asian arm of Columbia Pictures (if that's not just semantics from a subdivision of Sony), likely to top anything they churn out Stateside this year.

Doesn't play all the cards you expect, and a trim 90 minutes. (Some complaints about skimping on motives and exposition, but I didn't mind much.)
