US postal costs - help needed!

Sorry for the banal nature of this question: can any US ILXors let me know the cheapest way to import a 20kg package to the UK (the value of the package is very low so it shouldn't attract customs duty)? Time isn't really important, but finding a way of shipping it for under $100 is. Thanks in advance!

http://postcalc.usps.gov/intl_speed.asp?CID=10150&MailType=package&Pounds=44&Ounces=0

gives $91 dollars for surface mail. $91 is less than $100...

Thanks Andy. Can any merkins beat $91?

Both UPS and DHL would be approx. $300. Surface mail is the cheapest way to go, and it doesn't matter what city it is shipped from in the US or where it goes in the UK, it's the same cost.

Do you know anyone traveling over here who'd be willing to haul it back to the UK for you? Offer them $50.

Sadly no - it's the weight that's making it such a nuisance!
