Y'know...the cheerleader (see it here)

Will she forever be typecast as a valley-girl type? Will she win a Best Actress Oscar in 2016?

What is in her future?

Tape Store (Tape Store), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:25 (nineteen years ago)

I said to my family last night that she is my favorite living actress, although on reflection I guess Streep should be mentioned in that conversation. Still though, this kid (who is probably like 25 or so) is brilliant. "I LOVE CHEWING GUM" is the crucial line reading here.

Steve Shasta, you are truly the most renaissancish man here.

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:53 (nineteen years ago)

Haha, she was the hooded mutant girl in The Hills Have Eyes remake!

melton mowbray's APOCALYPTO! (adr), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:55 (nineteen years ago)

This is one of the most intolerable commercials on television today, up there with that inexplicable Heinekin/Pussycat Dolls...thing.

Allyzay will never stop making pancakes (allyzay), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:55 (nineteen years ago)

I love it, and the one with Rachel Stevens as the business chick is almost as good.

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:56 (nineteen years ago)

The only part of that one that is remotely entertaining is when she says, "No, I haven't been drinking."

Allyzay will never stop making pancakes (allyzay), Thursday, 20 July 2006 15:57 (nineteen years ago)

I'm no renaissance person, it's just that you guys are (how do I put this kindly) a tad delinquent in all the internet fads!

WE HAVE JOBS

Haikunym (Haikunym), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:00 (nineteen years ago)

DO KEEP UP

Steve Shasta (Steve Shasta), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:01 (nineteen years ago)

that's a great ad but way too short.

jed_ (jed), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:07 (nineteen years ago)

I can't believe she is 20.

Tape Store (Tape Store), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:11 (nineteen years ago)

I think to lend some realistic balance the t-mobile campaign should have an ad where the person in the lab is just a guy holding his phone up to his ear and saying "yeah. okay. uh huh. yeah. no, not for a while. really. yeah. uh huh." just mindless phatic responses to whatever babble is happening on the other end, as the timer on the wall surpasses 1100 minutes.

..
This thread just made me feel guilty for not talking to my parents in an age.

TOMBOT (TOMBOT), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:18 (nineteen years ago)

I can't believe she lists her body type as "more to love."

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:18 (nineteen years ago)

She also claims to be 99 years old, I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Allyzay will never stop making pancakes (allyzay), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:32 (nineteen years ago)

how did they squeeze that fattey into that cheerleading outfit?

gear (gear), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:33 (nineteen years ago)

i have such a crush on the cingular gossip girl

Nunca Llueve (Jody Beth Rosen), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:37 (nineteen years ago)

they should change the caption in the ad! "nonagenarian fattey cheerleader"

TOMBOT (TOMBOT), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:39 (nineteen years ago)

"damn, those bitches can talk about some nothin"

TOMBOT (TOMBOT), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:39 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah I am with JBR on the cingular ad.

Allyzay will never stop making pancakes (allyzay), Thursday, 20 July 2006 16:59 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, they must have been thrilled when they pulled that one out of the Slightly Irregular Mila Kunis pile.

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 20 July 2006 18:41 (nineteen years ago)

(She's like 1000x finer than Mila Kunis; I'm just saying, though.)

Edward III (edward iii), Thursday, 20 July 2006 18:59 (nineteen years ago)

she played the 15yr old russian love slave in a couple of crucial episodes of '24' last season

gear (gear), Thursday, 20 July 2006 19:01 (nineteen years ago)

yeah she was hot as hell when she shot that motherfucker down. jack bauer was pissed off, although that would have ended the show five hours early which is a clear violation

I think it's Rachel Harris, right? She's so much better than what she's usually cast in (see "Fat Actress," or rather, don't)

(I prefer the bug eyed girl from the "dropped calls" Cingular commercials, incidentally)

Tiki Theater Xymposium (Bent Over at the Arclight), Sunday, 23 July 2006 04:51 (nineteen years ago)

the bug eyed girl from the "dropped calls" Cingular commercials

My dad said she looked like a chihuahua.

i've seen her before. she's really striking. who is she?

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 09:27 (nineteen years ago)

she has *that* sort of shuffling walk at the end--i have positive associations with that walk. why? i need this explained.

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 09:32 (nineteen years ago)

also that ad is very nicely edited.

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 09:35 (nineteen years ago)

I think it's Rachel Harris, right? She's so much better than what she's usually cast in (see "Fat Actress," or rather, don't)

I still miss the original The Smoking Gun TV show she did.

yr the only one, bro

chaki (chaki), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 18:23 (nineteen years ago)

Low bro, Chaki.

Is the Cingular / Russian mail-order girl Tobey Maguire's across-the-hall cake-bringing neighbor in Spider-Man 2?

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 18:28 (nineteen years ago)

no that is mageina tovah, who is even more skeletal (and kinda less hott)

Haikunym (Haikunym), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 18:52 (nineteen years ago)

But she is blessed w/ a poetic Eeyoric sadsackness that's so crush-worthy. I want her to offer me cake, so I can offer it back to her.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 19:03 (nineteen years ago)

"poetic Eeyoric" is shitic.

David R. (popshots75`), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 19:03 (nineteen years ago)

no that is mageina tovah

oh, that is an UNFORTUNATE name.

you want pastrami? (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 23 August 2006 04:30 (nineteen years ago)

The funniest thing about American T-Mobile adverts is that you get Catherine Zeta-Jones calling it "T-mo-bull" at the end, when in real life a British person (even a Welsh one) would call it "T-mobyle".

Hello Sunshine (Hello Sunshine), Wednesday, 23 August 2006 07:01 (nineteen years ago)

Is America not "real life"??

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Wednesday, 23 August 2006 07:34 (nineteen years ago)

"Another Girl, Another Planet"

Euai Kapaui (tracerhand), Wednesday, 23 August 2006 08:30 (nineteen years ago)

in real life a british or welsh person will say whatever t-mobile pays them to say.

eleven months pass...

She's going to be in a movie called Legacy! With Tom Green! In a small part!

When a geeky, overweight rushee is found dead at the hottest sorority on the campus, the three most popular girls of the house are prime suspects.

shuffling = pants around ankles? that would explain the positive associations.
