Due to a connecting flight delay, I now have a four hour layover at Pittsburgh airport as opposed to the original half hour before I arrive at Newark Sat (now) afternoon. I arrive in Pittsburgh at 8am Sat morning...

What do I do? Where do I go get brunch? etc.

The airport is actually rather far away from the city proper, so I'm not sure you have time to do much besides shop the mall that is the p'gh airport.

That said, I'm quite fond of Pittsburgh and should you ever find yourself there for a weekend there is plenty to be seen and done.

Note: the O is to Oakland as Pizza Mart is to Adams Morgan. You have been warned.

the incline doesn't cross the river, it takes you up and down Mt. Washington. the rivers are pretty. they like football there a LOT. decent but mostly awful-for-you food (although this is changing rapidly). a few great record stores, if you're into digging. they have world-class museums, including the Andy Warhol museum. it's my hometown.

Best graveyard I've ever been to in my life is in Pittsburgh. I got lost in it while the sun was setting and didn't see another (living) soul the whole time. Finally had to beeline for the outer iron fence and follow it to an eventual gate. Wonderful times. Love that city.

apparently it has the second biggest inner-city park in America and personally I prefer it to Central Park because it undulates and you're able to forget you're even in a city.

also has the second tallest academic building in the US. it's very tall.
