a huge ever growing box of clag that rules from the centre of your bedroom

a comb
a charger for a phone you don't remember ever owning
some keys (unidentified)
a half-used roll of sellotape
three tubes of "no more nails" filler
four bicycle repair kits
thousands of weird and wonderful wires that you don't know what they do
half a pack of paracetamol

what do you do when you're clearing stuff out and come across stuff you're not sure whether to throw away? especially the wires - you know the second you throw them out you'll find out what they were for and that now you have a completely useless appliance.

I just throw everything away, everything everything. Maybe 1% of the time I regret it. I grew up around hoarders and want absolutely nothing to do with the mindset.

true but what if you accidentally throw away the particular power lead that charges your digital camera?

I've done that before, actually. Bought a new one off eBay. But never will I incur wrath like the day I threw away the boy's iRiver adapter. I just don't touch adapters/cords anymore, but fuck, any old note/half-used office supply/repairable lamp/etc. goes. I'm not running a used & broken electronics store here.
