Is there really no thread and/or discussion for MTV's Jersey Shore yet? This show is pure gold. I'm about 7 mins into the first episode and there have already been about 15 amazing quotes/potential GIF moments. Wow. I <3 NJ forever. Mostly because it reminds me of Long Island but yeah, guidos 4 lyfe.

i was kind of hoping that they would do this but they're such a big phenomenon that it's going to throw off the whole dynamic of the show. for one they are all too self-aware of themselves and why they are popular/unpopular and secondly they are just not going to be able to go out and have situations arise organically like they did in season 1. it will be a total madhouse wherever they go and anyone who comes in contact with them will most likely have questionable/star-gazing motives
