In college, my roomate and I would kill one of the small bottles of El Tapatio (59¢!) in less than a week. The big bottles in ~ 1 month. One of those gallon jugs would have made it a full semester! I still have love for Tapatio, but am currently having an affair with El Yucateco:

tapatio is essential. probably my favorite condiment, sriracha coming in a close second.

I always have a quart of Tapatio in the fridge.

Huy Fong sriracha is actually my first choice overall.

In hot sauce thread, no asshole is safe.

Tapatio has that familiarity and is great all-purpose but that Yucateco Kutbil-ik is some serious not-to-be-fucked with greatness. If I had to go without one, it'd be the Yucateco, 'cause it's overwhelming whereas Tapatio is just right, it's not about the thrillride it's about the goodness.

Still neither can touch the no-longer-in-existence Montezuma Aztec Hot Sauce, which was the greatest hot sauce of all time.
